2nd suspect tied to Jacksonville Beach sexual battery arrested in Georgia, awaiting extradition

Jacksonville, FL — After first alerting the public about two sexual battery suspects back on July 1st, the Jacksonville Beach Police Department now confirms both suspects are in police custody.

WOKV told you about the arrest of Shawn Cobb back in August, after police say DNA from the victim matched to Cobb. Jail records at that time showed he's facing multiple counts of sexual battery, and one charge of kidnapping with a firearm.

Now, police say the second suspect has been identified as Corinthia Ruth Morris. We're told she's now awaiting extradition back to Florida, after being taken into custody in Atlanta, Georgia on September 11th, 2018.
