The Florida Forest Service Jacksonville says a wildfire in Green Cove Springs is now 100% contained.
FFS Jacksonville says the fire burned about 23 acres in a wooded area off Hwy 17.
FFS Jacksonville says high temperatures and not much rain in that area, has created active fire conditions. They’ve determined the cause to this fire is lightning.
