Jacksonville, FL — Say goodbye to the dry heat of recent weeks. After 20 consecutive days with no measurable rain we’re finally seeing a wet pattern change.
Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says the roads will be slick from oily residue since we've been so dry.
“A little bit slick out there, even some ponding of water at times and localized minor flooding due to the heavy rainfall today through Tuesday. Rainfall totals are expected to average one to three inches but may even be more than that, four or five inches in some spots before the week is over with”, said Buresh.
