Jacksonville FL — On Tuesday, Clay County officials sent out a boil water advisory for a certain neighborhood in Orange Park due to a water main break. Officials say the boil water advisory is for the Highland Grove Subdivision and homes and businesses around Moody Ave and Meadow Drive. Officials say only customers who got a notice on their door are impacted by the advisory and a follow-up notice will be sent out when the advisory is lifted. Two consecutive days of satisfactory bacteria samples are required before an advisory can be lifted.
Meanwhile, due to the water main break, the intersection of Moody Ave. and Meadow Dr. will be shut down for repair work. Officials say repair work should be completed within the next five days from Tuesday.
