Jacksonville, FL — It’s windy and cool as you get back to work and school from the long Thanksgiving weekend. Action News Jax Meteorologist Garrett Bedenbaugh says we tied the record of 84 degrees on Sunday and we had wind gusts as high as 44 mph at Jacksonville International Airport.
“It’ll be clear and chilly today after the upper 50’s for highs only down into the 30’s. A little bit cool overnight tonight. Upper 30’s to near 40 closer to the coast but I think we stay just above freezing across most spots”, said Bedenbaugh.
We stay in the 50's on Tuesday, and below average for most of the week but it’ll be sunny and dry.
A light inland freeze possible tonight for mainly SE Georgia. #FirstAlertWX pic.twitter.com/COCG1QJNPv
