Jacksonville, Fl — Jacksonville city leaders are offering thoughts, prayers and support for Council Member Ju’Coby Pittman, who is hospitalized with COVID-19.
“My thoughts and prayers are with Council Member Ju’Coby Pittman and her family during this time of illness. I KNOW God to be a healer and I trust God will heal my dear colleague completely. We have so much more work to do! God is Able!”, said City Council President Sam Newby, who himself was hospitalized with COVID-19 in the spring of 2020.
Mayor Lenny Curry calls Pittman a dear friend and colleague. Pittman represents the 8th District, and is CEO of the Clara White Mission.
