Jacksonville, FL — More than 10,000 parents/students have signed up to receive the laptops.
According to a spokesperson for the district, some students may not begin online learning Tuesday because they have not yet received their chromebook.

“They are starting [Tuesday] if possible. [Tuesday] is mostly a getting acclimated day, kind of like the first day of school,” Nicole Young, a spokesperson with CCSD, said.
By the end of Tuesday, 93% of students should have their laptop, meaning that less than 1,000 students will still need to pick one up, according to the district.
Parents who have not signed their children up for a laptop should register, and can find planning and distance learning resources on the district's website.
