Jacksonville, FL — Clay Electric Cooperative members are about to get some good news on their March bill.
Clay Electric Cooperative's trustees have approved a $12 million Capital Credits refund for members who received service from 1989 through 2017. That means current customers will receive a credit on their March bills, with the average amount coming in at $37.70.
For those individuals are eligible for a refund, but are no longer current customers, Clay Electric says a refund check will be mailed around March 21st. For this group, the minimum amount refunded will be $10, but will average around $67.32.
Clay Electric says this year’s refund will be the 45th consecutive time that the cooperative has voted to refund Capital Credits.
