Coldest morning in almost a month ahead of warming trend

Jacksonville, Fl — We begin a warming trend today after the coldest morning low temperatures in almost a month. Action News Jax Meteorologist Garrett Bedenbaugh is tracking mostly sunny skies and temperatures climbing to the mid-70s, right around average.

It won’t be as cold tonight with clear skies and temperatures falling to near 50 degrees.

Friday warms even more with mostly to partly sunny skies for St. Patrick’s Day. It’s going to be breezy as temperatures warm to the low 80s.

Rain returns very late Friday and hangs around off-and-on through the day Saturday. A few storms are also possible to start the weekend. Temperatures will only be near 70 degrees.

Sunday is the pick day of the weekend for outdoor plans. Skies turn mostly sunny but it’s cooler again with temperatures only in the low 60s. We stay cool to start next week. Monday is looking partly sunny with an isolated shower at times.
