Controversial Georgia pastor to have bond hearing

A controversial pastor who is behind bars on child sex charges could be released soon.

Ken Adkins is scheduled to have a bond hearing Tuesday in Glynn County. He has been in jail for more than a month.

Adkins is expected to go before a new judge for a bond hearing after two previous judges stepped down.

Adkins was arrested in August for child molestation and aggravated child molestation. He’s accused of molesting a teenager who was part of his ministry.

The arrest warrant said in 2010 a victim under the age of 16 claimed that Adkins molested him. The victim claims that he saw Adkins as a father figure and said Adkins told the victim that he wanted to watch him and his girlfriend perform sexual acts to make sure they were doing it properly.
