Jacksonville, FL — A shuttle bus from Ephesus Junior Academy has been involved in a crash on Lem Turner Rd. near Trout River Blvd. this morning.
JFRD says one adult and one child were transported to hospital with non-critical injuries.
According to the school, the brakes on the bus failed, causing the driver to lose control and slam into two cars.
Joyce Dudley, the school’s principal says there were between 15-18 kids on board at the time. The school bus comes equipped with seat belts so most kids only sustained bumps and bruises.
No word on whether any of the drivers would receive a citation.
