Jacksonville, Fla. — A 25-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Roosevelt Boulevard (US-17) near NAS Jacksonville, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP says the motorcyclist was heading northbound on US-17 when it collided with a pickup truck as it was turning into NAS JAX.
The rider was killed. The driver of the SUV was not physically hurt.
Northbound lanes were blocked for some time but have since reopened.
