Family of man found dead along Mayport area road searching for new leads

Jacksonville FL — The family of Dylan McCurdy is hoping the community will come forward with any information on the investigation into their loved one's death. We told you last week when McCurdy was found on the side of Featherwood Drive. His family says he was found not far from where he lived.

The family has put out a sign where Dylan was found along with American flags and a cross.

“We want justice because this is senseless. This was done out of hate. Dylan’s father Bruce says.

We’re told the family laid McCurdy to rest this past Friday. So far Jacksonville Police haven’t announced any arrests or suspect information related to this incident.
