Jacksonville, Fl — The Red Cross is assisting two men who were not injured when fire destroyed a home on Franklin Street, north of the Jacksonville Sports Complex.
Jacksonville Fire and Rescue says the men were able to get out of the duplex before the fire spread. One of the residents says he woke up his neighbor by banging on the door to get his attention.
Photos showed extensive damage to the outside of the duplex, and the contents that were brought outside.
