Jacksonville, FL — Jacksonville saw its first official freeze of the season, ten days before the average first freeze at Jacksonville International Airport. Action News Jax Meteorologist Garrett Bedenbaugh says we’ll be sunny throughout the day but chilly with afternoon temperatures in the upper 50’s to near 60. oday will make it only to the upper 50’s under sunny skies.
The average first freeze in Jacksonville (JIA) is December 13th. Tonight will be chilly as well in the upper 30’s by early tomorrow morning. We will gradually climb to near 70 degrees by Friday.
