Free drive-thru coronavirus testing site opens Thursday at Flagler Hospital

There’s a new coronavirus testing option available in St. Johns County starting tomorrow.

A partnership between the county and Flagler Health+ is taking money from the CARES Act and using it to test people for free at Flagler Hospital, 400 Health Park Blvd.

“We’re grateful for our partnership with Flagler Health+ in providing this service, and hopeful the increased testing will help us all continue making the best health and wellness decisions for ourselves and our families,” says County Administrator Hunter Conrad in a statement.

The testing site will be located in Parking Lot B and in operation from 7 to 11 a.m. on weekdays, or until capacity is reached. All ages are welcome, but a parent or guardian needs to be there with minors looking to get tested. Be sure to bring a photo ID.

Patients are encouraged to register through the Flagler Health+ Anywhere app. You’ll get your results over the phone within seven to 10 days.
