Jacksonville, FL — A Freeze Warning is in effect inland until 8am as temps fall through the 30’s. You may need a few extra minutes to melt frost off the windshield.
High temperatures will only reach the upper 50’s this afternoon under sunny skies but winds should be a bit calmer than yesterday.
“It will still be very chilly tonight, 30’s inland and 40’s at the beaches but not as cold as what we had yesterday morning”, said Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh.
Temperatures will be a bit warmer Friday starting in the 40’s and warming into the 60’s. Rain arrives late Saturday night in to Sunday but temps will warm into the low 70’s.
Might want to give yourself some extra time to let your car warm up, or defrost like this one needs on the Southside this morning. Temps starting out in the 30’s. Weather updates every 6 minutes on @WOKVNews @RichJonesJax pic.twitter.com/F0CniifPKh
