Jacksonville, Fl — Keep an eye out for showers that could be heavy at times today and again tomorrow. Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says it stays really warm and humid.
“Yes, we should be past the sea breeze season but not so much thanks to especially the high humidity and the temperatures will be a solid 7 to 8 degrees above average, reaching the mid-80′s. A little bit cooler at the beaches, especially today”, said Buresh.

We’ll be into record warm territory on Thursday with temperatures at or near 90 degrees. The record of 87 was set in 1984.
A cool front finally sweeps through early Friday, bringing cooler temperatures in the mid-70′s. And it will remain nice for Halloween on Saturday.
TROPICS: Zeta will emerge from the Yucatan Peninsula into the Southern Gulf of Mexico. Another U.S. tropical landfall is likely near Louisiana tomorrow night as a hurricane. FOUR named storms have already made landfall along the Louisiana coast this season (Cristobal, Laura, Marco, Delta). No direct local impacts for us from Zeta.
