Jacksonville shelters offering free “St. Pawtrick’s Day” adoptions

Jacksonville, FL — Some Jacksonville-area dogs and cats are hoping St. Patrick’s Day brings them some luck.

The Jacksonville Humane Society is waiving adoption fees through Sunday, in honor of “St. Pawtrick’s Day”. Jacksonville Animal Care & Protective Services is also waiving the adoption fee, but that special continues all month for the City shelter, to try to create space in the “critically full” kennels.

JHS is open noon to 7PM weekdays and 10AM through 5PM weekends at 8464 Beach Blvd. ACPS is at 2020 Forest St, open 10AM through 6PM Tuesdays through Saturdays.

All pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Additional fees, including the City licensing fee, may apply.
