Jacksonville, FL — Jacksonville police say a man was acting calm and even waited in line, before robbing a Wells Fargo today.
It happened around 1:25PM at the Wells Fargo on Old St. Augustine Road near Bartram Park Boulevard. JSO says the suspect waited in line, then placed a white bag on the counter and passed the teller a note demanding money. Police say he indicated he had a gun, although no weapon was shown and nobody was hurt.
The teller complied, and the man left the building with a currently unknown amount of money. There were five employees and three bank patrons in the building at the time, and JSO says they’ve all been interviewed. Investigators are surveying the area for any available surveillance footage at this time.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 40s with a slight tan, who’s 5’9”-5’10” and unshaven. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt saying “Greetings from Asbury Park”, blue jeans, and a off-white baseball cap with blue on the front.
