Jacksonville — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man accused of taking money from the Synovus Bank on Airport Center Dr. at the River City Marketplace. Police say they are looking for a white man in his late 30’s or early 40’s who’s accused of walking into the bank and handing over a letter to a teller demanding money.

JSO says after the teller handed over the money the man walked out and headed north.
Police say the man was wearing a long-sleeved light blue shirt with tan shorts, black shoes, and a tan baseball cap covering his face.
JSO says no weapon was seen during the robbery.
