1 JSO officer injured after crash with another officer

Jacksonville — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says an officer involved crash between two officers sent one to the hospital with minor injuries. JSO says the crash happened at the intersection of Union Street and A. Phillip Randolph near downtown Jacksonville. Police say the two officers were investigating a suspicious car in the area when the crash happened. JSO says the officer in an unmarked car was traveling north on A. Phillip Randolph while the other officer in a marked JSO car was traveling east on Union Street. The officer in the unmarked car was the one sent to the hospital. The crash is still under investigation.
