Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office releases photo of bank robbery suspect from Friday

Jacksonville, FL — If you were on the Westside of town late Friday morning, you may have seen a heavy police presence.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office was called about a reported bank robbery at the Regions Bank on Roosevelt Boulevard, a few blocks north of San Juan Avenue, just before noon. Police say a woman walked in, approached a teller, and demanded money--- all while she had her hands in her pockets, as if to imply that she was armed.

The suspect demanded money saying she would shoot. The teller gave the suspect money and the suspect left the bank in a green vehicle.

The suspect is described as a white woman, between 5'6" and 5'8" tall, 140-145 pounds, and in her early 20's.

Very few other details are available, as he was said to be wearing sunglasses, a hoodie, and baseball hat at the time.

She was last seen leaving on foot.
