Jacksonville, FL — An 18-year-old man from Julington Creek is accused of sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 18 at a neighborhood pool in St. Johns County.
The incident occurred between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Wednesday, in the Switzerland area.
The victim told St. Johns Deputies that she contacted Tyler Tillman through social media and asked him to meet up and to bring alcohol. She told Deputies that the two drank a large amount of vodka before she decided to take a swim.
The report states that the suspect began to kiss the victim and became aggressive. Video of the incident showed the suspect striking the victim in the head repeatedly throughout the encounter, according to the arrest report.
After the sexual attack, the video shows the victim stumbling to a patio area, repeatedly falling down.
According to the report, one witness heard a female yelling in pain, which caused him to respond to the scene. That witness says the victim wouldn’t identify the suspect because he claimed he would murder her family if she did.
Deputies arrested Tillman late Thursday on charges of sexual battery with force and sale of alcohol to a minor. He was being held with no bond.
