For Locals By Locals Spotlight Plenti

Plenti

If you’re in the mood for a poke bowl or salmon toast, Plenti is your place. Plenti opened March 31st and they serve up casual coastal fare that compliments your health-conscious active lifestyle. Owner Dean Nixon was inspired to serve food with a Polynesian flair after a trip to Hawaii. Nixon says, “Hawaii is where I was introduced to poke and really fell in love with it.”

Nixon says their most popular bowl is the Avo-Cali Bowl which has a base of white or brown rice, mixed greens or a combination of both. Mix-ins include avocado, cilantro, cucumber, edamame, Kama Krab, pickled ginger, seaweed salad, their signature Plenti crunch, shredded nori and tobiko with Big Island Dressing. In addition to bowls and toast, they also serve salads and smoothies.

Plenti is downtown and they offer catering options. Nixon encourages business to try it out, “We have a ‘build your own’ station which is popular for corporate clients tired of typical options.” Nixon says it’s new, exciting and it meets just about any dietary restriction.

With fresh and nutritious ingredients, and unique homemade dressings, you might want to make Plenti a habit. Nixon says they offer a rewards program for repeat customers. You get $5 off when you sign up that you can use on your first order, then for every dollar you spend you get a point and once you reach 100 points, you get another $5 off.

Plenti is located at 200 Riverside Ave in downtown Jacksonville and they’re open 10am until 9pm daily. Here is a link to their website.
