Man found shot dead in Jacksonville’s Woodstock neighborhood

Jacksonville, FL — A man is found shot dead on Jacksonville’s westside early this morning. JSO was dispatched around 3am to Lowell and Commonwealth to a person calling for help and shots fired.

When police arrived they found a man dead of apparent gunshot wounds. Homicide Detectives were searching the area for evidence and asked anyone who may have witnessed the shooting to call them at Crime Stoppers 866-845-TIPS.

The only description of the victim is that he was a black male and detectives were working to contact his family.
