A man who called 911 to say he injured himself in a fishing accident and later failed to appear in court for child porn charges was found by the U.S. marshalls this afternoon. During the call, John Price Jr., claimed he was hurt during a fishing incident near the S.R. 206 bridge.
St. Johns County Deputies say John Price failed to show up in court after the call and faced 50 charges of possession of child pornography.
The U.S. marshall's office spotted Price at a hardware store in Marion County and arrested him. They say he's been hiding out in the ocala national forest.
He's being transported from Marion County to St. Johns County jail. He will be he held without bond.
