Jacksonville, Fl — Today is giving us a nice little break from the heat and humidity. Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says we’ll have steady temps staying in the 60s throughout the day.
“It’s pretty unseasonable today, and we’ll drop into the mid to upper 50s tonight. While it’s a nice cool day the temperatures at night not dropping off that much because that’s a little below average but because of the breeze and cloud cover, we won’t drop quite as cool as one might think. And still a few lingering showers tonight”, said Buresh.
It will be especially windy at the beaches today through Saturday. Expect dangerous rip currents in the Atlantic Ocean.
The weekend is looking mainly dry and below average, but gradually warmer, with temperatures both days in the low 80s. We stay in the low 80′s to start the new work week.
