Jacksonville, FL — A traffic stop in St. Augustine Beach ends with a Palatka woman facing 10 separate drug related charges.

According to the St. Augustine Beach Police Department, one of their officers pulled over a Alyssa Clarke, 19, for speeding just before 11:00 pm on September 16.

Once he walked up to the car, the officer says he then spotted several items commonly used as drug paraphernalia in plain view.

When he asked Clarke about the items, she said her boyfriend may have a little bit of 'weed' in the back of the car.

However, the police department says during a search of her car, they found a 'vast' number of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia, including the following:

-LSD

-185 grams of marijuana

-1.2 grams of cocaine

-Hydrocodone pills

-Codeine cough syrup

-Multiple clear plastic bags consistent with packaging and sales

-Five glass pipes and water bongs

Clarke was booked into the St. Johns County jail on $15,000 bond.

The police department says the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are likely.
