Police asking for witnesses of fatal shooting on A Phillip Randolph to come forward

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is asking for the witnesses who were at the scene of a fatal shooting on A. Phillip Randolph Boulevard last weekend to come forward.

Police say two men were shot Saturday about 6:30 p.m. near Pippin Street, and one of them died. That victim has been identified as Reginald Cobbs.

It appeared there were no witnesses at the time, but JSO says detectives obtained surveillance video from the area showing people were nearby.

Investigators are asking those people to come forward to speak with detectives about what happened.

Anyone who is a witness or was in the area can contact the Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500 or send an email to JSOCrimeTips@jaxsheriff.org. To remain anonymous and receive a possible reward up to $3,000 if your tip leads to an arrest contact Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.
