JSO: Person injuried in Sans Souci area shooting

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reported one person shot in the Sans Souci area at 6500 Beach Blvd.

JSO reported that at around 6:00 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a local hospital in reference to a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a male in his 30s with a gunshot wound to his lower extremities suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.

The victim reportedly told JSO that the incident happened in the 6500 block of Beach Blvd. However, no scene has been located at this time.

The suspect in the shooting is currently unknown and still outstanding.

Violent Crime Detectives and Crime Scene Detectives have responded to the scene and are currently conducting their investigation.
