Jacksonville, FL — Showers and thunderstorms will begin to pop early this afternoon, and move west to east so the beaches should see a good shot at much-needed rain.
Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says we could see two waves of rain and storms today. The main threat is locally heavy downpours and lightning strikes. A gusty windy is also possible with any of the stronger storms.
The rest of the week will feature highs int eh lower to mid 90’s and scattered afternoon thunderstorms.
