JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — After a wet and chilly weekend, we’re in for some nicer weather.
Action News Jax Meteorologist Alyssa Pejic says we’ll be dry Monday with mostly to partly sunny skies. Temperatures will go back into the upper 60s into the low 70s this afternoon.
The dry weather won’t last long, Pejic says by Tuesday rain does return with clouds increasing overhead throughout the day. You’ll even need to prepare for afternoon/evening showers and a few thunderstorms lingering into Wednesday.
Temperatures will continue climbing throughout the week and into the weekend. By Friday we’ll feel temperatures near the 80s.
The Jacksonville International Airport experienced rainfall last week reached five inches from Tuesday through Saturday, beating the March average of 3.9 inches.
