Jacksonville, Fl — Keep the umbrella handy, again, as we’re tracking spotty morning showers. Action News Jax Meteorologist Garrett Bedenbaugh says we’ll be quite stormy at times today.
“Midday and afternoon showers and thunderstorms, heavy downpours, frequent lightning, and also gusty wind are the main threats. We have a lot of moisture in place. An upper-level disturbance that will help aid in the development of the rain and storms today, again”, said Bedenbaugh.

More rain is expected tomorrow, primarily in the afternoon. Temperatures will only climb into the upper 80s given all the cloud cover.
Storms become more isolated by late in the week, and temps climb back into the 90s to end the week.
