Jacksonville, FL — This heat is no joke and is challenging records left and right.
Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says we could see a sixth consecutive day with ‘feel-like’ temps at or above 110 degrees.
“A record for the month of August and is the second most on record of consecutive days at or above 110”, Buresh said.
Cooling downpours will only be isolated today but coverage of storms increases by the end of the week and weekend, bringing more relief from the heat.
Thursday’s Jaguars preseason home opener against the Eagles will be humid and hot, with storms around at least before the 7pm kickoff. You can watch the game on FOX 30.
