A few afternoon storms continue tomorrow. The showers and storms will head inland each day through Thursday. Winds aloft switch directions by Friday which will help get some more rain back to the beaches Friday afternoon.
This weekend will feature afternoon storms to watch out for as you celebrate the 4th of July.
TROPICS: What’s left of tropical depression Danny continues to move through Georgia and Alabama this morning. It is basically a rain maker. We are also tracking a tropical wave in the Central Atlantic. There is some opportunity for it to develop over the next few days. It will approach the Lesser Antilles tomorrow night. Another tropical wave is behind that one in the Atlantic.
