Jacksonville, FL — Two people have been hurt in a stabbing in the Avenues area of the Southside, and Jacksonville police say one of those involved is considered a person of interest.
JSO responded to Shamrock Road, near Philips and Southside, just after 10:30 AM to a report of a stabbing. Two people in that home were suffering stab wounds, with injuries to one considered to be life threatening.
Police are still investigating what led up to the stabbing, but they believe it was domestic-related and there is no remaining threat to the public. It appears both victims are in their 60s and are related, according to police. JSO says a man and woman were involved, but they haven’t disclosed which is considered their person of interest and which was more seriously injured.
