Jacksonville, Fl — The damp, chilly air is gradually leaving and just in time for Thanksgiving. Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh is tracking an isolated shower with cloud cover for much of the day but we will see some sunshine return by late in the day. Temperatures are in the upper 60s.
No significant storm systems nearby today for Thanksgiving travel.

Thanksgiving Day will be partly sunny with only an isolated shower possible in the afternoon. Highs will be in the lower to mid 70s, which is average for late November.
Then the heat returns. Friday will be well above average with a partly cloudy sky and temperatures into the low 80s. Only an isolated afternoon shower is possible.
Saturday is even warmer, nearing the record of 84 degrees, with a partly cloudy sky. We’ll have a few showers or a storm late in the day, which will bring cooler air for Sunday and early next week.
Sunday will turn clear with time and temperatures will be in the low 70s.
Monday and Tuesday are looking very nice with temperatures in the low 70s and mostly sunny skies.
