Tailgating not permitted in stadium parking lots for Georgia-Florida game this year

Jacksonville FL — On Friday the City of Jacksonville announced tailgating in the stadium parking lots will not be allowed ahead of this year’s Georgia-Florida game due to the pandemic. In addition, they say only game ticket holders will be allowed in those lots. Face coverings that completely cover your mouth and nose will be required at the game from the time you walk in the gates and throughout the game. The only exception will be when you’re eating and drinking. The city says fans who don’t follow the policy are subject to disciplinary measures.

Previously, we reported when the city announced the game would be held with limited capacity and there would be no RV city.

We’re told the stadium parking lots will open at 12:30 PM and the gates to TIAA Bank Field will open at 1:30. Throughout the stadium there will be over 750 hand-sanitizing stations and all payments inside will be contactless. The city says cash will not be accepted in the stadium.

The game is scheduled to kick-off at 3:30PM on November 7th.
