Jacksonville, FL — Our weather story boils down to three words: Warm, wet, cold.Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh is tracking temperatures approaching 80 degrees today.
“A little bit breezy and really a pretty good start to the work week. Clouds move in tonight with some moisture starting to increase and the temperatures will be mild, only dropping into the lower 60’s. Then a storm system brings rain”, Buresh said.
The best chance for rain will be mid-day into Tuesday evening, but there may be rain as early as the morning rush to work.
This will be a good soaking with anywhere between one and three inches of rain by the time it ends early Wednesday.
The end of the week looks cold with a frost or freeze early on Friday. And the weekend will start out cold, like last weekend.
