Jacksonville, FL — Trading short-sleeves for winter coats. By this afternoon you're going to feel much colder air surge in from the north. We were in the low 80’s on Wednesday. Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says rain arrives late today, though amounts don’t appear to be all that great.
“And then Friday we’ll start out with some drizzle and light rain in the morning, it’s not a soaking for the morning commute tomorrow but there will be damp to wet roadways and you’ll want to bundle up. Temperatures will struggle to get to 50 degrees and wind chills all day long in the 30’s and 40’s”, said Buresh.
We start off the weekend cold with frost inland early. The afternoon will be partly sunny with temperatures only in the upper 50’s. It turns a little warmer on Sunday, which will be the pick day of your weekend, with partly sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 60’s.
