Two suspects charged in connection to 2017 carjacking, fatal shooting in Orange Park

Jacksonville, FL — Almost two years to the day after a 26-year-old man was gunned down in Orange Park, the Clay County Sheriff's Office now believes the two suspects responsible are off the streets.

Investigators say Henry Williams and Ja'Cari Anderson, both of Jacksonville, are charged in connection to the carjacking on October 17, 2017, that went wrong, resulting in the shooting death of Dorrien Mann on Capella Road.

Williams was arrested on May 7, 2019, with carjacking, while Anderson was arrested on October 7, 2019, with carjacking and second-degree murder.

"This moment is only possible due to the relentless pursuit of the truth by our detectives," said Sgt. Mike Calhoun, as he announced the arrests.

Mann's parents attended Thursday's announcement by the sheriff's office. They did not wish to speak publicly, but told our partner Action News Jax, "God bless and thank the work of the detectives."
