Two women accused of stealing almost $6,000 from Nassau gaming business

The Nassau County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help finding two women who stole close to $6,000 in cash from the Pot of Gold gaming business in Callahan.

The incident report says the suspects spent several hours at the business on December 8th. When an employee went to the restroom, surveillance footage shows one of the women run to the back room and take a bag of “extra cash” out of a desk, and then run out of the front door with another woman, according to NCSO. The incident report says the total value of the cash was $5,765.

At least one of the suspects is believed to have been in the business before.

Both suspects are described as black women, who fled in a white Chevy Malibu with Florida tag ESYJ64. One woman ws wearing a white beanie, a black jacket, and dark pants. The other was wearing a light colored shirt, a dark gray jacket, and black pants.
