Action News Jax has learned the identity of a man shot and killed on Saturday night.
Police told Action News Jax reporter Ryan Nelson that Reginald Cobbs, 22, was one of two men who came under gunfire at A. Phillip Randolph Boulevard and Pippin Street around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The other man was in critical condition at last word from police on Saturday.
“Why is there so much violence now?” asked a neighbor who didn’t want to be identified. “Why don’t people be concerned about other people? Regardless, you know, of race, age color, whatever.”

On Saturday, police said night they’re searching for two or more suspects.
Saturday’s shooting now makes a total of eight people shot and two people killed at the intersection in the last three months.
A 76-year-old man later died as a result of his injuries.
Many neighbors told Nelson they feared for their safety and declined an interview.
One man said he hopes to one day regain his peace of mind, as Saturday’s shooting unfolded in front of his favorite store.
“A bunch of people hanging out at the store,” said the man. “I’ll be wondering you know, is something going to happen?”
Nelson asked a police sergeant at the scene Saturday if there appeared to be a connection between the shootings.
Police said there was no early indication the shootings were related.
Action News Jax has contacted the Jacksonville Sheriff's office if it has uncovered a connection between the shootings since Saturday night.
Police are asking anyone with information in the shooting to come forward.
