JACKSONVILLE — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) announced Tuesday they need the public’s help tracking down a man behind an aggravated battery that occurred over the weekend.
Police said on Saturday, April 10, just after 10:00 p.m., officers responded to St. Augustine Road for a reported aggravated battery. The investigation has revealed that an unknown black male suspect pulled a black handgun from around his waistband and hit a victim in the head with it.
The suspect then got into a red sedan and drove away southbound on St. Augustine Road.
