Jacksonville, FL — Expect thick fog in spots as you head back to work this morning. The big weather story this week will be the big fluctuations in temperatures, from spring-like warm to winter's chill.
Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says we'll have a lot of cloud cover left over from the disturbance that brought the rain through yesterday.
“May even have a little drizzle or a few sprinkles around this morning, doesn’t look like anything too significant. Temperatures several degrees above average by late in the day reaching the low 70’s”, Buresh said.
We stay warm through midweek. Temperatures on Tuesday will reach to near 80 degrees and in the upper 70’s on Wednesday before another change on Thursday. That’s when rain moves through with a cold front. Friday will be much cooler and windy, temperatures will only be in the mid-50’s on Friday.
