NORTHEAST FLORIDA — We’re gearing up for a warm weekend.
Our Friday weather is looking really nice with plenty of sunshine and warm conditions.
Action News Jax Meteorologist Garrett Bedenbaugh says temperatures will reach the lower to mid 80s inland, not ruling out some upper 80s in some neighborhoods.
Much of the day will be dry, but we could see a line of thunderstorms approaching I-75 west of Jacksonville late Friday evening.
Bedenbaugh says those showers and thunderstorms should try to weaken as they approach the Highway 301 corridor or and especially the I-95 corridor.

A few widely scattered showers and thunderstorms will redevelop Saturday ahead of a cold front.
By Sunday, temperatures will drop into the mid 70s with mostly sunny skies. That weather pattern will continue through the start of next week.
