Jacksonville, Fl — While most of the rain stayed to our south yesterday, that won’t be the case come the weekend. Action News Jax Meteorologist Garrett Bedenbaugh says showers are possible after 2 pm. There is a possibility of a thunderstorm as well. High temperatures will be in the mid-70s, but then more scattered rain could dampen those Saturday plans.
“We’ll have a lot of cloud cover on Saturday, mostly cloudy with some scattered rain and even a few heavy downpours depending on where the heaviest band of rain sets up. We could see a couple of inches of rain through the weekend in some neighborhoods”, Bedenbaugh said.

Sunday also appears wet at times, with heavy downpours at times. Temperatures will remain in the mid-70s Sunday and into early next week.
It appears the wet pattern also sticks around into early next week.
Happy Friday! Cloudy skies for the morning commute with an isolated sprinkle as a cold front sweeps south of the area by sunrise! Otherwise mild & comfy in the 50s/60s.#FirstAlertWx pic.twitter.com/LsvfDZSXiC
