This time a week ago, Susie Wiles was in charge of former Utah governor Jon Huntsman's presidential campaign.  On July 21, she decided to take her talents back to Ponte Vedra Beach.

Wiles, who played a big role in the successful gubernatorial bid of Governor Rick Scott, says she barely had time to catch her breath between getting done with the governor's bid and beginning to work for the Horizon Political Action Committee, which would eventually lead her to Huntsman's campaign.

She says there was no reason for her departure other than she felt it was time for her to take a break from politics.

"There was no seminal moment, there was no horrible occurence, there was nothing like that.  It just really was that I felt like it was time."

Wiles says the opportunity to get involved with political campaigns has presented itself on different occasions since she stepped down, but she says she'd rather take a step back right now and work on her public relations work.

Wiles, along with former Jacksonville all-pro offensive lineman Tony Boselli, manage the Ponte Vedra branch of Smith & Ballard, a public relations firm.
