Jacksonville, FL — We have one more very warm day, and it’s going to be wind, with afternoon temperatures pushing near record territory. Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh is tracking a cold front that could bring storms very late in the day.
“It will bring a band of showers with it, perhaps an isolated thunderstorm that would produce a few rumbles of thunder and heavier downpours. But I am not expecting widespread heavy rain. I do expect most spots to get at least some sprinkles”, Buresh said. Most areas will see less than a quarter inch of rain.
By tomorrow we turn much cooler, but nice, all the way through Saturday. Morning temps will be in the 50’s and 40’s, and afternoon temps will be near normal, in the mid-70’s.
